Since 2012, I have worked as a composer and Musical Director, specialising in devised work, live score (solo or with a chamber band) as well as comedy songs.

 

During my acting training (2014-17) I was fortunate enough to learn from and work with the inimitable Colin Sell (I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue - BBC R4). The experience I had working with Colin has since led to working as a regular MD/songwriter for the long-running satirical sketch comedy show NewsRevue (since 2019), as well as being in-house composer for award-winning improv comedy troupe, The Noise Next Door (BBC One, BBC Three, ITV, Britain's Got Talent, BBC R4). 

 

In addition to my live work, I am fully equipped with a home studio (London, UK), from which I have composed and recorded original score for many theatre and radio projects.

I specialise in a nostalgic, comedic, quirky style, reminiscent of television, radio and gaming score of the 80s/90s, largely created on a vintage synthesizer and other classic electronic instruments. Current projects include Wind in the Willows (Audiobook, Audible) and The Big C (Comedy Short), as well as MDing The Highwayman (UK Tour) with regular collaborator, The John Godber Company.
